I was down on the south shore of Long Island this weekend and had an opportunity to visit Freeport for a maritime festival. It was sort of fascinating that I had never happened upon this town before and it's unusual makeup of houses that are all open to water for boating. The festival was awesome and brought me back to being 6 with corn dogs, live cover bands, and a carnival that seemed excitingly unsafe.

Times Square Madness
Here's the latest submission I entered into JPG Magazine. I took it this weekend in Times Square while I was watching a Mos Def movie shoot with Mike Epps called Next Day Air. If you like it you can vote for it for JPG here: JPG

New York to Norman Rockwell
I've been out traveling lately and going into the city quite a bit. Here are a few of my latest photos- Colin Meloy of the Decemberists was pretty entertaining in Brooklyn, I bumped into a silent rave in Union Square, and the rest are from my trip through the Berkshires. I made pit stops at the Norman Rockwell museum, Cooperstown to see the baseball hall of fame, and to Wookstock. I'll be putting up a new travel story on my website about it this week. The rest are up on my project:366 on my website.
